After hearing about this story, I just lost my mind.I have heard of parents going over the edge in regards to their children. But of course, they have the right to defend their child, right? But when does it go over the line?Answer: When coaches punish children for, dare I say it, the world’s dumbest crock of BS ever assembled.

So when someone who isn’t their father or their relative tries to tell them they need to perform like they’re in the Olympic Trials, I  take offense.After the phone message I left, I thought this was done But then, I heard about this parent who had to work late. As a parent, I think it’s time for all the coaches to know their role and shut their hole. They have to realize the parents aren’t taking it as seriously as they are. It’s time for these guys to understand that life isn’t always about sport.Let the kids have their fun They’re kids, so let them be kids. Besides, just because parents didn’t make it to the big leagues doesn’t mean that they have to dump their dreams on the children. So coaches (and parents): Just shut up and let them play.Because deep inside, you wish you were them..
